What is the alternate to power supply for living?
As electricity is shut down for minimum of 6 hours, frequently for 12 to 18 hours and sometimes for a whole day, what alternate we may have for living?

I presume the word you were looking for was alternative (look it up in an English dictionary).
Our forefathers managed without an electrical supply. If things get bad enough then I am sure we could manage too.
